Scott Ian McFarland Knitwear opened in 2014 to provide  all the services starting knitwear designers would need. Feeling passionately and having started his own knitwear line he was very aware of just how hard it could be to get thing manufactured. Also finding a place in the USA to produce knit products was daunting as well.

Scott was living in NYC when he started learning about all the exciting thing happening in NC and how a revival in American manufacturing was happening. Wanting to be a part of this momentum and to help other small designers like himself he made the move to NC.
